Here are some sites and applications that we feel are helpful tools. Please note that these are not solicited advertisements, but merely a compilation of a few handy tools and services that we use frequently in our business, and we also feel that they may be able to help you with your real estate goals as well.

Get up to date mortgage information, as well as current posted rates for 5-year fixed mortgages and variable rates. See below for an excellent mobile app for a mortgage calculator. Plug in the mortgage rates listed at mortgagebrokersottawa.ca or the rate that was given to you by a financier to get specific mortgage payment options. This is a handy tool that allows you to search by address to get information regarding zoning, topographical maps, aerial photos, cycle paths, parks, nearby schools and more.

These tools allow you to search by address to view the school zones for a particular address. You can also check out the school’s ranking at;

Public MLS Access: www.realtor.ca (formerly MLS.ca)
This tool allows you to search by address, area, open houses etc. and shows properties that are listed on the Multiple Listing Service (MLS®). There is also a mobile app (see below).
Apps:
This mortgage calculator is easy to use and adjust to current mortgage rates.
Most mobile devices come with a QR Code reader. Many real estate professionals use QR codes on information sheets, for-sale signs and open-house signs in order to provide additional information for those with access to mobile devices.
This site allows you to search MLS properties by map or list. For best results, ensure that your location services are turned on. Filter by price range, number of bedrooms etc. Be sure to add Phillip, Pamela and Cameron to your “My Agents” section!
